Welcome to Phonic Studios

Right in the heart of Dublin’s city centre, Phonic Studios is designed to create the perfect atmosphere for making great music. With natural light, comfortable surroundings, amazing gear and great ears, Phonic lets you concentrate on what’s important: the music.

The Space

Phonic Studios has 110 sq metres dedicated to giving you the service you need.

The control room is cosy and can accommodate 4 to 6 people easily and comfortably. Genelec 8040, Yamaha NS10 or Dynaudio Accoustics monitoring and acoustic treatment give the room a great sound for recording and mixing.

The live room is suitable for all sorts of recording and can be made “live” or “dead” to your requirements, thanks to a customised baffling system, and Auralex® treatment.  The room isn’t huge but the drum sound is really fat and warm. All sorts of instruments can be accommodated.

The signal path is everything in recording, and at Phonic, we have the very best, not only in mics, preamps, clocking and monitoring, but even in cables. Phonic Studios is Vovox® accredited, utilising the best cables in the business to guarantee a top quality signal
